Hey all, guess who's finally got a moment to breathe? Damn straight!

Anyway, I've received quite a few notes (along with a handful of comments) regarding scarf orders, so I figured I might as well open them up here on deviantART. I don't have a subscription, so unfortunately I am unable to post thumbnails, but I'm going to try to make this as simple as possible (Ctrl+Click the links to open examples in new tabs):

Most of my scarves are crocheted, unless you want ruffles or a boa/tube.

=PRICES=
Will begin at a flat fee of 35.00 USD, free shipping to anywhere in the continental United States. This price is for the simpler designs; tassels and outlining can be added at no extra cost:
Wingull Scarf<--Pokemon-ispired.
Peruvian Print
Boa - Turquoise<--Knitted in the round.
Mixed Green<--Outlined.
Mixed Blue<--Crocheted vertically (as opposed to the usual horizontal method) in order to bring out the pattern printed on the yarn. Tasseled.
Mixed Tan<--Outlined, tasseled.
Teal Scarf<--(Note that a few of the examples placed before this last one were all done with a slip stitch, but the teal scarf was crocheted with the "up and down" stitch. It creates a very cute, springy criss-cross pattern that is very fun to do.)

38.00 USD, free shipping:
School Spirit<--I have done several of these in different color combinations. This design is extremely easy to customize for any school: Solid Color/Outline/Crocheted Lettering. Tassels are optional :D

40.00 USD, free shipping:
Green Pinstripe<--Pick 2 colors; Body + Outline/Stripes/Tassels
Twisted<--Twisted yarn, knitted in the round. Must be tasseled.
Wavy<--These I don't think I will outline anymore, at least not in black; it definitely seemed a lot less cluttered until I did that. I think from now on if I do decide to outline striped scarves, I will stick to outlining the stripes individually as I go, using the same color as whatever stripe I'm working on. :meow:

45.00 USD, free shipping:
Hogwarts-Style, Blocked Stripes<--As the title suggests, these scarves are styled after the Hogwarts scarves from the Harry Potter universe--They are typically comprised of 19 stripes alternating between two colors (If you would like more than that it will raise the price a little) and are outlined and tasseled by default, though that is optional. You can see in the photo that some owners requested different dimensions/colors/lettering/outlining.
Chevron Scarf<--Up to 3 different colors, more than that will add a little to the price.
Zigzag<--AKA "The Corphish Scarf". Another one of my Pokemon-inspired creations. 2 colors, outlined.

48.00 USD, free shipping:
Diamond Scarf<--Up to 2 colors, outlined.
:new:Braided<--These I secure along the internal zigzag, at each instance where the three strands cross one another.

50.00 USD, free shipping:
Checkers<--This price covers up to 3 colors. Tassels optional.

55.00 USD, free shipping:
Ruffles<--These are knitted. The yarn is very soft, expensive, and annoying to work with, but the end result is quite beautiful. :]

60.00 USD, free shipping
Piano Keys<--This price covers up to 2 color choices--more are available upon request, but this could up the cost to as much as 75.00 USD.
Clarinet Scarf<--They do make crappy, colored, plastic clarinets IRL, so if you are interested in having a color other than black, note me and we can discuss color combinations--some colors might simply look bad with the gray keys, and it is important to me that a) you like the end result, and b) people can still tell it is a clarinet.

65.00 USD, free shipping
Music Staff, (composite photo)<--As far as colors are concerned, I'm only opening the choices up to light-ish colors in place of the white background, since I will only be using one brand/color fabric markers for the music. Aside from that though, these are customizable to whatever excerpt you would like on them; I myself chose the Saint-Saëns clarinet sonata since I am a clarinet player and it is beautiful to both the ears and eyes. Basically just be mindful of what piece you want: percussion might not look so great, for example. And if you choose an excerpt that jumps around a lot on the staff, I have to know that you're okay with me transposing it into onto one octave so it'll fit.

ALSO, these scarves make me a little nervous about washing. They will all come to you pre-washed, but the music is done free-hand on the yarn with permanent fabric markers (I have tried so many different kinds now, and nothing really seems to be as permanent as it says it is, at least when it comes to yarn). If they need to be washed, please try to do it by hand and avoid the notes (the lines on the staff are okay though, since those weren't drawn on). In the event that one of these scarves must be machine-washed, please put it on the lowest setting and try not to drown it in detergent. And a word to the wise: do NOT put them in the dryer!! Hang them on a hanger above the tub or something. I have machine-washed two of these, and both were fine until I tried to dry them, and then they ran. I panicked, but luckily washing them a second time cleaned the white right up, and now I hang them above our wash tub in the basement to air dry.

=HOW TO COMMISSION ME= ***CURRENTLY CLOSED***
Send me a note here on dA or email me at gabiemiller@gmail.com with "Scarf Commission" in the subject. In the body state which style of scarf (listed above) you would like, whether you would like any letters/outlining/tassels done, and what colors/length you want (most will be between 6-7ft. by default, please specify if you want something longer or shorter, and whether the order will be for a child or adult).

I will respond stating whether I accept your commission offer and approximately how long it will take me (usually around 2 weeks, based on how many orders I've taken). Depending on how intricate the design is, I will send you photos of what your scarf looks like when it is about halfway done (if the design is particularly difficult I will send the photos sooner--I'd rather not complete the scarf and then find I am unable to sell it). You can tell me whether you like it or what should be changed, and based on your input I will either try to rework it and send you more photos, or I will go on and finish the scarf.

Once the scarf is complete I will ask for your mailing address and you can send your payment via PayPal to perfect_cell59@hotmail.com. Once your payment has cleared I will ship the item. :D

If your payment does not clear or you back out, the completed item will not be sent to you, and may be posted for sale either on here, Etsy, or elsewhere. I may also choose to keep the item or give it to someone else.

Each completed piece will be posted here on deviantART, and I will mention the commissioner in the deviation description. I reserve the right to accept or deny any and all commissions.

=REQUESTS= ***CURRENTLY CLOSED***
I would also like to start taking requests, either for scarves or for sketches and the like. If you would like to request something, note me or leave a comment. If I accept your request, the completed piece will be posted here on dA. Requested pieces will not belong to or be sent to you, though you will be mentioned in the deviation description.

Completed scarves and other textiles may be posted for sale on here, Etsy, or elsewhere. I may also choose to keep them or give them to someone else. I reserve the right to accept or deny any and all requests.
